New Department!!!

The Writing Department is one of Push for Paws' newest teams, created to expand our educational outreach and strengthen our voice across every platform. Members will help craft compelling, informative, and engaging content that educates the public while supporting our mission.

Responsibilities may include:

• Writing articles for our Pawgress Report newsletter, which features monthly organization updates, volunteer spotlights, educational articles, and the impact of our initiatives within the community
• Drafting blog posts and educational resources about pet health, safety, adoption, and animal welfare
• Writing website content and updating existing pages
• Creating scripts for videos, presentations, and awareness campaigns
• Writing social media captions and campaign copy
• Conducting research to support informational articles
• Drafting press releases, announcements, and organizational updates
• Assisting with grant writing and fundraising materials
• Proofreading and editing content created by other departments

This department is ideal for volunteers who enjoy writing, storytelling, research, and communication. Strong grammar, creativity, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines are encouraged. Whether you're an experienced writer or looking to develop your skills, you'll play an important role in helping Push for Paws educate, inspire, and create a greater impact for animals in need.
