Talented Musician to sing/play for the elderly Community -Nevada

Uplift Hospice is seeking talented and compassionate musicians and singers who would love to share their gift of music with elderly and hospice patients.

Music has a beautiful way of bringing comfort, sparking memories, lifting spirits, and creating moments of joy. As a Hospice Music Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to brighten a patient’s day through live music and meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Visit hospice patients in their homes, assisted living communities, or other care settings.
• Sing or play music for patients based on their interests and preferences.
• Perform familiar songs that may bring back happy memories and encourage connection.
• Spend time socializing and engaging with patients before or after musical performances.
• Create a peaceful, uplifting, and compassionate environment.
• Be attentive to the patient’s mood, comfort level, and needs during visits.
• Communicate any significant observations or concerns to the hospice volunteer coordinator.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for each patient and their family.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome musicians and singers who play instruments such as:

• 🎹 Piano/Keyboard
• 🎻 Violin or other string instruments
• 🎷 Wind instruments
• 🎤 Vocalists/Singers
• Other musical talents are welcome!

You do not need to be a professional performer. A genuine love of music, compassion for others, and a desire to make a difference are what matter most.
