Volunteer Opportunity: Shepherd’s Pantry Food Distribution

Word of Truth Anointed Ministries, a partner agency of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, operates Shepherd’s Pantry—a client-choice food pantry that allows individuals and families to select the food items that best meet their needs at no cost.

We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to help us serve our community!

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Mondays & Tuesdays (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
• Assist with stocking and organizing food items.
• Thursdays (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
• Help sort and stock food in preparation for distribution.
• Fridays:
  • 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Sorting and preparing food
  • 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Assisting with food distribution

Special Need:

We are especially in need of bilingual (Spanish/English) volunteers on Fridays from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM to help better serve our diverse community.

Additional Information:

• Volunteer hour documentation is available upon request
• Individuals and groups (1–20 people) are welcome
• All activities take place at our organization’s location
