Auction & Prize Sourcing Volunteer — Charity Golf Tournament

Africa Tech for Tomorrow Foundation (ATFT) is a San Francisco 501(c)(3) teaching digital and AI skills to young people in rural Kenya. We have thirty computers in our lab today. A hundred is the goal.

Our first charity golf tournament, Tee Off for Tech Africa, is on Friday 23 October at Paradise Valley Golf Course in Fairfield. We need 15–20 donated items for the silent auction and raffle, plus prizes for the on-course contests.

What you'll do

• Ask local businesses for donated items: rounds of golf, restaurant and hotel gift cards, experiences, gift baskets, services
• Source prizes for longest drive and closest-to-the-pin
• Photograph and write a short description of each item for our mobile bidding page
• Keep a simple log of donors so every one is thanked and receipted
• Optional: help run the auction table on the day

You'll be great at this if you

• Enjoy talking to small-business owners
• Are organised and follow through
• Have retail, hospitality or events contacts (a plus)
