Descrição
We are seeking a compassionate volunteer around LOS ANGELES COUNTY to provide friendly companionship for a hospice patient while her daughter runs errands. Your presence offers comfort to the patient and peace of mind to the family.
Ways to Help
- Visit patients in their homes or in nursing/assisted living facilities
- Offer conversation, reading, music, or quiet presence
- Provide short caregiver relief so loved ones can rest or run errands
- Assist with office projects or community outreach if you prefer behind-the-scenes work
We welcome caring people of all backgrounds—no medical experience needed. Flexible scheduling is available, typically 2–4 hours per week, and all volunteers receive free hospice training and ongoing support. Background checks and a short orientation are required.
