UCP-LI's 2026 Walk and Wheel

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at UCP-LI’s Walk and Wheel!

United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island welcomes you to join us in support of our 2026 Walk and Wheel fundraiser. On Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at The Children’s Center, we will gather for a group Walk & Wheel around the school in honor of each team’s group and personal accomplishments.

The Walk and Wheel will begin at 10:00am with morning refreshments and a group calisthenics warm up at 10:30am. The group walk and wheel will kick off at 11:00am and will be followed by a fun celebration of activities and our awards ceremony!

Our Walk and Wheel fundraiser brings together UCP-LI individuals, their family and friends, staff, business leaders, and community members to raise critical funds for the children and adults that UCP-LI serves with cerebral palsy and other intellectual and developmental disabilities on Long Island.

We are seeking outgoing adults (18 and over) who would like to donate their time to a great cause and help make the Walk and Wheel a success!

For volunteers, good inter-personnel skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to help are the only requirements. This event will be comprised of registration duties, manning our different activities stations, assistance with prepping the Walk and Wheel path, passing out food and drinks to the guests, and assistance with cleanup throughout and after the event.

Training is provided, everyone works with a partner/ buddy, and all meals are on us! This is a wonderful fundraiser - and we would be grateful for your help!
