The Parkinson’s Foundation South Central Chapter (serving TX, AR, and OK) is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us expand our reach throughout the community and connect people affected by Parkinson’s disease with trusted information and support.
Volunteer Ambassadors can participate in a variety of opportunities based on their interests, availability and location, including:
- Community outreach
- Health fairs and resource tables
- Educational programs
- Special events
No previous Parkinson’s or nonprofit experience is required. We’re looking for dependable, community-minded individuals who are comfortable engaging with others and are passionate about making a difference.
Getting started: New volunteers complete a volunteer orientation and Ambassador training before participating in most opportunities. Once trained, Ambassadors receive a special Ambassador kit and can view and sign up for available activities through our platform.
Opportunities vary throughout the year, making this a great fit for volunteers looking for flexible ways to give back.
