Volunteers are vital part of the team who offer support, and care to people who are in the last phases of their life. Volunteers provide conversation, and provide support to the patient and family. The types of volunteers are Direct, administrative, pet, vigil, veteran, bereavement support and reiki. Commitment can be weekly or as needed allowing the families to have an errand or just need rest. Visits can be completed at facilities or the patients home. Orientation and supervision is provided by the volunteer coordinator. Orientation Module, Background checks and drug testing provided as well.
