EASEL Animal Rescue League seeks a dependable, detail-oriented Volunteer Development & Fundraising Assistant to aid our Director of Development. Gain hands-on nonprofit fundraising, event, and admin experience while supporting our mission. Animal lovers, career-changers and retirees welcome!

Responsibilities

• • Support fundraising initiatives and event preparation
  • Assist with event coordination, including planning support, timelines, and follow-ups
  • Provide administrative assistance, including document preparation and scheduling
  • Assist with CRM/database management, including donor data entry and updates
  • Help track donations, acknowledgments, and basic reports
  • Provide general development support as needed

Qualifications

• • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with basic data entry and administrative tasks
  • Willingness to learn CRM systems (training provided as needed)
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or event planning
  • Appreciation for animals is a plus, but commitment to supporting a mission-driven organization is what matters most
