Operating in Southern Belize for 20+ years, Hillside Health Care International welcomes short-term medical volunteers to assist in providing healthcare services to under-served people in southern Belize. Hillside operates a primary care clinic, provides nursing home care and palliative services, as well as providing community outreach and education. Our clinic provides the only physical rehabilitation services in Belize's Toledo District.
Medical, physician assistant, pharmacy, public health, and physical therapy students from the US, UK, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia spend 1 – 2 months in year-round rotations learning about global health and getting hands-on experience working with volunteers.
Hillside welcomes Physical Therapists who wish to volunteer for 2 weeks or longer to assist the Medical Director in overseeing students and clinic operations.
Weekends provide opportunities to explore the beauty of Belize!
