Lead/Assist with Welcome Parties & Facilitate Cultural Exchange!

HI New Orleans is looking for volunteers to lead and support welcome parties for guests at our bustling hostel; which hosts travelers from across the globe. The HI USA Welcome Party allows guests to meet and interact with each other, at the hostel. These Welcome Parties also serve as an opportunity for guests to learn some information about New Orleans history and the culture of our local communities/neighborhoods.

HI USA is 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people places and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships is reinvested in mission delivery.
