Help us feed the folks in our PALs community!

Do you want to be a part of a community that is making a lasting impact in people's lives? Perhaps you would like to volunteer with PALs!

PALs is a program that focuses on building a compassionate and dedicated community to help support families experiencing poverty. We meet twice a month to share meals, build community support, build friendships and relationships, exchange helpful resources, and encourage and empower one another in a fun, supportive environment

During our meetings we provide a meal for all the participants and volunteers. We are feeding upwards of 30 people a meeting. It takes a village to feed a village! So we are looking for folks who can help with the distribution of this meal. Getting our buffet table cleaned up and set up

• Getting the meal heated and ready to be served at 6:30pm
• ensuring we have enough drinks, plates, cups, utenstils, etc for every week.
• help with clean up, and ensuring the kitchen looks the same as we found it.

Please note, there will be no cooking involved with this! Our meal is already prepared, we just need to heat it up. The only thing you might have to put together is a salad or a fruit plate.

Schedule - 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.

Time - 6:00PM-7:30PM.

Location - Montclair

Start Date - May 7th

We are hoping to find folks who are able and interested in offering ongoing support, but you’re welcome to try it out first to see if it’s a good fit for you.
