Auction Procurement Volunteer, Soirée

Position Requirements

An organized, proactive individual who is comfortable reaching out to businesses to request donations in support of the DPA Soirée. Outreach may include email, phone, or in-person communication—guidance and sample scripts will be provided.

No prior experience or existing business connections are required. A genuine interest in supporting Dallas Pets Alive, Dogs Matter, and Humane Society of Dallas County is essential.

Position Purpose

Support the success of the Soirée auction by helping source and secure live and silent auction items, as well as contributions for the wine and whiskey pull.

Your Role

Help build a dynamic and engaging auction by securing donations from businesses and community partners who:

• Offer products, services, or experiences suitable for auction
• Value giving back to the community
• Support animal welfare initiatives

Volunteer Goals (Participate in as many as possible)

1. Reach out to businesses and organizations to request donations
2. Help secure live and silent auction items
3. Source bottles for the wine and whiskey pull
4. Track outreach efforts and responses
5. Identify new donor opportunities and partnerships
