Do you speak more than one language and want to make a meaningful impact? As a Bilingual Volunteer with CorsoCare, you’ll provide companionship, support, and connection to patients who may feel more comfortable communicating in their native language.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate with patients in their preferred language to provide emotional support and companionship
- Assist families in understanding care instructions and updates when language barriers exist
- Help patients feel seen, heard, and understood through conversation and connection
- Support activities such as reading, reflection, or light engagement in the patient’s preferred language
Note
- Support needs can vary by area and are dependent on our current patient census
- We recommend volunteers take on Companionship (English) visits while opportunities in their chosen language become available

Requirements
- Fluency in English plus one of the common languages spoken, such as Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, or Hindi
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Completion of volunteer training program
- Background check and TB test
