Role Summary:

The Redwood/Sequoia Expert will design, implement, and optimize data models, pipelines, and systems using Redwood and Sequoia frameworks. This role ensures efficient data architecture, scalability, and reliability to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making aligned with the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines using Redwood and Sequoia frameworks.
• Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and system reliability.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and proper data governance practices.
• Collaborate with data, engineering, and program teams to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data system issues, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with Redwood and/or Sequoia frameworks or similar data systems.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, database design, and data pipeline development.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data tools and workflows.
• Understanding of data security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools.
• Experience working on nonprofit or mission-driven data projects.
