Join a small group of Advocacy Fellows who live in Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart's Congressional District. Mr. Diaz-Balart is a key leader in Congress as the chair of the House subcommittee that funds foreign aid, so his constituents have a very important opportunity to make a difference for global health.
You will be trained and supported in effective citizen advocacy, urging the Congressman to support measures to increase the impact of U.S. global health programs. Currently we are focused on increasing U.S. aid for the delivery of frontline health care and on improved reporting on the health outcomes of our aid.
Advocacy Fellows work about 6 hours a week for a minimum of 12 months, with regular small-group coaching by video chat. All activities can be conducted remotely.
