Grocery Delivery for The Society/SHC of Medina County

Basic volunteer duties involved with this assignment:

1. Pick up pre-ordered groceries at designated time and location and deliver to one or more group homes. Times can be arranged to fit your schedule.
2. Drop off groceries independently to the front door of assigned home (contact-free delivery).
3. Communicate effectively with staff to arrange times for grocery pick-up/drop-off.

Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment:

Maintain confidentiality, ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Adults with developmental disabilities.

Provides staff in the homes additional time to focus on individualized care and activities within the homes.

What specific skills will the volunteer need?

Valid driver's license; reliable transportation; ability to lift 15 lbs.
