With one hour a week you could change a life...
Agape Hospice care is looking for volunteers to help out by visiting a patient 1 time per week for 1 hour visits or we need office help if admin work is your thing.
How do I get started?
- fill out an application
- Sign a sheet to consent to a background check. (we pay for that)
- Get a TB test = we do them for free at our office. M-F 10-4
- Take 6 on line training courses from Relias.
- Meet for an orientation
- meet your patient or come to the office to help.
This opprotunity is wonderful for college students, retired men or women, veterans, anyone with a big heart looking to give back. No medical background needed. We train. No hands on care, you would just sit with a patient and talk, read, play music.
