Chefs!
We are trying to build a bank of chefs who would like to lead children and families, mainly at schools, to create a healthy, delicious meal for the same cost as a fast food combo.
The time commitment is up to 4-5 hours - 2.5 hours preparing and cooking the meal with fresh ingredients supplied by Seeds in the Middle with students, and then afterward serving to up to 100 people
This is our signature Chef Night and is usually done in school kitchens and cafeterias of public schools in low-income areas or public housing community centers.
We also welcome chefs to lead a cooking class to fundraise for us through Tastes of Brooklyn. We promote you widely via our social media and emails reaching more than 10,000+
