Make a difference by volunteering with hospice!
A hospice patient is diagnosed with a terminal illness and it is at this point where helping hands are needed. A volunteer can add so much to a patient's quality of remaining life.
Bereavement Volunteers assist the Volunteer Coodinator with support of individuals and families experiencing loss. Assist with mailings, provide calls and/or visits to family members after a loved one has passed away.
A criminal background check, TB test, and drug screening is required and will be administered (at no charge) prior to volunteering. Orientation and training will be provided.
