    Descrição

MBIC and the Olivet Center for Integrated Services are seeking Fundraising & Community Ambassadors who are willing to help us expand the reach of our fundraising campaigns by sharing them within their own personal, professional, social, school, workplace, and community networks.

This is not traditional fundraising where volunteers are expected to develop campaigns or make individual financial asks from scratch. We create the fundraising materials, links, flyers, and suggested messaging. Our ambassadors help us get them seen and shared.

That may be as simple as sharing a campaign on Facebook or LinkedIn, sending it to coworkers or professional contacts, posting it in an appropriate community group, forwarding it to a school or alumni network, or asking a company, organization, association, faith community, or civic group to circulate it.

Ambassadors can also help us reach beyond their immediate networks by identifying new places where our campaigns and donation requests can be shared.

    What You Can Help With:

      • Share MBIC/Olivet fundraising campaigns with your own network through social media, email, text, professional contacts, workplace groups, alumni networks, schools, associations, community organizations, and other appropriate channels.
      • Repost and amplify fundraising campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook and other social platforms.
      • Forward approved campaigns to people or organizations that may be interested in supporting the work.
      • Encourage friends, colleagues, businesses, or organizations to share the campaign even if they are unable to donate themselves.
      • Identify new individuals, businesses, corporations, schools, universities, civic organizations, professional associations, faith communities, and community groups that may be willing to donate or circulate an appeal.
      • Research and submit appropriate opportunities through corporate giving, workplace giving, employee matching, Benevity, corporate volunteer programs, and community-giving platforms.
      • Help circulate urgent appeals when MBIC/Olivet has an immediate or emergency organizational need.
      • Help secure financial or in-kind support for member programming, supplies, activities, food, transportation, community integration, facility needs, and other program resources.
      • Research businesses that may donate products, services, equipment, food, furniture, supplies, printing, transportation, or other resources.
      • Track where campaigns have been shared or submitted so our team can coordinate follow-up.
      • Help recruit additional ambassadors who can introduce the organization to entirely new networks.

You Don't Have to Be a Fundraiser

You don't need fundraising experience or a huge social media following.

If you have a network, you can help.

Your network might be 20 people or 2,000. It might be your coworkers, classmates, professional association, neighborhood group, church, social media followers, alumni network, friends and family, or people within your industry.

Sometimes the person who sees a campaign isn't the person who ultimately gives—they are the person who shares it with someone else who can help.

    Why It Matters

MBIC's work is centered on meaningful participation, independence, skill development, social connection, advocacy, and community integration for individuals affected by brain injury and other cognitive challenges. Its Work-Ordered Day model specifically emphasizes member engagement, purpose, routine, belonging, and community integration.

Ambassadors help us bring new people into that circle of support. Funds raised can help address urgent organizational needs while supporting meaningful member programming and opportunities.

This is a flexible opportunity that can be completed entirely remotely and around your existing schedule.

If you can share, post, forward, introduce, research, or connect—we can use your help.
