About Creshendo
Creshendo is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering displaced populations through community-driven programs that foster self-reliance, advocacy, and cultural preservation. We’re in a powerful storytelling phase, and we’re looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to help us bring our mission to life through compelling video content for social media.
We’re seeking a passionate Writer to support our communications efforts, from blog articles and newsletters to website content and social media. If you have a talent for turning ideas into compelling copy and want to use your voice to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Role Overview
As a Writer at Creshendo, you’ll help bring our stories to life, collaborating with the communications team to brainstorm content ideas, write and edit copy, and ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and engaging. Your work will inform, inspire, and connect diverse audiences to our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and draft blog articles that reflect Creshendo’s values, programs, and global impact
- Assist with writing and editing newsletters, social media posts, and website copy
- Help ensure clarity, tone, and consistency across written content
- Collaborate with team members to develop content calendars and campaign messages
- Edit and proofread various communications materials as needed
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have:
- Strong writing and editing skills, with an adaptable tone for different platforms
- Experience in content creation for nonprofits, advocacy, education, or storytelling projects
- Creativity and initiative in generating topic ideas and refining drafts
- Excellent command of English grammar and style
- Ability to meet deadlines on a flexible, remote schedule
- Availability to dedicate at least 4–8 hours per week
