Maya’s Hope (NYC nonprofit) seeks a VOLUNTEER detail-oriented Researcher to help identify individuals for our Nov 19 Lotus Ball. You’ll build lists, find names/titles, verify emails, and capture LinkedIn profiles. Remote, flexible hours. Deliverables-based role for the next 4 weeks. We provide life-saving surgeries, therapies, medicine, and essentials to children in extreme poverty—especially in Ukraine and the Philippines.
What you’ll do
- Build a qualified list of companies aligned with CSR/marketing goals (finance, real estate, legal, healthcare, tech, consumer).
- Identify decision-makers (Marketing/CSR/Community Relations, Partnerships, C-suite, Managing Directors).
- Find and verify emails, names/titles, and LinkedIn profiles (accuracy matters).
- Log clean data in our spreadsheet/CRM with source links.
- Prioritize NYC/tri-state and brands with event/CSR histories.
- Weekly deliverable: 50+ qualified companies with 2–3 contacts each (or similar target we agree on).
You’re great at
- Internet research, Boolean searches, LinkedIn sleuthing.
- Data hygiene (consistency, deduping, verification).
- Hitting weekly targets with minimal supervision.
- Clear communication and ethical data practices.
Nice-to-have tools (not required): Google Sheets/Excel, LinkedIn
Time & Location
- Remote, flexible. Now through gala (next 4 weeks)
- Volunteer (unpaid). If you need service hours, we can document them.
