Great River Greening engages thousands of volunteers each year in hands-on restoration, environmental conservation, and community science-based programming. Our volunteer events take place across Minnesota, with a focus on the Twin Cities metro, central Minnesota (from Blaine to Brainerd), and Southern Minnesota.
We are expanding our restoration efforts and invite you to join our dedicated team of Volunteer Supervisors! This is a fantastic opportunity to develop valuable leadership and restoration skills while contributing to meaningful environmental change. Volunteer Supervisors are asked to assist with one (or more!) restoration events each spring and fall.
As a Volunteer Supervisor, you’ll lead and inspire small groups of around 10 volunteers during hands-on habitat restoration activities. Tasks can include planting native grasses and wildflowers, tree and shrub planting, invasive species control, and broadcasting seeds.
Sign up for our 90-minute virtual training session to learn more about the Volunteer Supervisor role, discover Great River Greening’s mission, and hear about our exciting restoration projects across Minnesota.
This training will be hosted on Zoom.
