Grant Researcher

As a Grant Researcher at Mentify Inc., you’ll play a critical role in securing funding to expand our youth mental health programs. You’ll work closely with leadership to identify grant opportunities, track deadlines, and support the development of strong, mission-aligned proposals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, writing, and making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources aligned with Mentify Inc.’s mission.

Maintain and organize a database of active, upcoming, and recurring grants.

Track deadlines, requirements, and submission timelines to ensure timely applications.

Assist in drafting and editing grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents.

Gather organizational data, program details, and impact metrics for applications.

Collaborate with leadership to align funding opportunities with program goals.

Monitor submitted grants and track outcomes (approved, pending, declined).

Support the development of reports or follow-ups required by funders.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong research and analytical skills.

Clear, professional writing and communication abilities.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Comfortable using tools like Google Docs, spreadsheets, and project management platforms (Asana preferred).

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Previous experience in grant research or nonprofit work is a plus, but not required.
