IVDSA Buddy Walk Volunteer 2026

Join us for the largest Buddy Walk in the Inland Valley on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Miller Park in Fontana! Together, we'll celebrate inclusion, promote awareness, and raise critical funds to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families throughout our community.

We invite you to be part of this exciting, fun-filled, family-friendly event by volunteering your time. Our volunteers make it possible for our families to relax, connect, and enjoy everything the Buddy Walk has to offer. After your volunteer shift, you're welcome to stay and join in the festivities!

This year's Buddy Walk will feature a live DJ, Kid Zone, carnival games, community resource booths, balloon artists, a photo booth, bake sale, arts and crafts, pumpkin decorating, reptile encounters, costume characters, food vendors, and much more!

Event activities will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m., and the Buddy Walk begins at 11:30 a.m.

Volunteer shifts are available throughout the day, beginning as early as 6:30 a.m. for event setup and continuing until approximately 3:00 p.m. for cleanup. You'll be able to indicate your availability and preferred volunteer role using the form included in your confirmation email.
