STEAM FEST Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers to help with STEAM FEST at the Pink Palace Museum Wednesday- Friday, October 7-9 from 9:00am-1:30pm. Volunteers will assist with hands-on activities like stomp rockets, pendulum painting, Cubelets designing, strawberry DNA extraction, in the microscope lab, greeting visitors, and helping to make this event fun and engaging for everyone. No special experience is required. Just a positive attitude and a willingness to help and have fun. Volunteers must be 18 years old. This position requires a lot of standing and moving around. Volunteers can sign up to volunteer for one or more dates. Volunteers should arrive at 9:00 for a short training on activities and museum safety walk through. Volunteers may wear jeans with no holes, and shirts should have no offensive writing. You may want to bring a light jacket; it is very cool in the building.
