Spiritual Support Volunteers/ Eucharistic Ministers promote healing by addressing the spiritual, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients and their family members. Volunteers help people feel less lonely, experience a sense of community and provide comfort through difficult times. Our volunteers demonstrate respect for every person’s faith, religion and spiritual beliefs.
Hackensack Meridian Hospice serves patients wherever they call home. The commitment is typically 1-2 hours a week within a manageable commute. Volunteers are provided a thorough orientation free of charge. Contact Hospice.Volunteer@HMHN.org for more information.
