Hand Massage Volunteer

We are seeking compassionate volunteers to provide gentle hand massages to hospice patients using soothing lotions and essential oils at a facility in Stanton. This calming, non-invasive practice offers comfort, relaxation, and human connection to individuals facing serious illness.

Role Overview

As a volunteer, you will offer light hand massages designed to:

• • Promote relaxation and reduce anxiety
  • Provide emotional comfort and presence
  • Enhance quality of life through caring, respectful touch

No prior massage experience is required

Responsibilities

• • Provide gentle hand massages using approved lotions and essential oils
  • Engage with patients in a calm, respectful, and empathetic manner
  • Follow hospice care guidelines, safety protocols, and patient preferences
  • Maintain patient dignity, confidentiality, and comfort at all times
  • Communicate with hospice staff regarding visits or patient needs
