Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Management Volunteer to help us build, engage, and support our amazing community of volunteers. In this role, you’ll play a key part in making sure volunteers feel welcomed, valued, and effectively matched with opportunities that support FYAR’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new volunteers.
- Maintain volunteer records and schedules (using Google Sheets, Monday.com)
- Coordinate communication with volunteers (emails, reminders, appreciation messages).
- Support volunteer training and orientation sessions.
- Help design appreciation strategies (certificates, thank-you letters, social media shout-outs).
- Provide feedback and ideas to improve the volunteer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools (Google Workspace, Excel, or project management tools like Monday.com).
- A welcoming, people-oriented attitude with a passion for community service.
- Prior volunteer coordination experience is a plus, but not required.
