The Ideal Library Position

We are looking for volunteers to assist staff with various services that range from collating materials for packets to detailed computer work. The ideal candidate works independently in a quiet, low-key environment. This job is well-suited for a book lover who appreciates precise, ongoing duties and enjoys all types of books. Library experience is helpful but not a prerequisite.

The ideal candidate for this job:

• Has experience with basic catalog records
• Is willing to help out
• Is proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Is adaptable in evolving circumstances
• Can maintain confidentiality
• Regular attendance is essential for this position
