Each shift is 2.5 hours long and the volunteer needs to be able to stand alongside the bike race crosswalk. When an opportunity arrives for someone to cross the street, the volunteer will allow them to cross safely.

Friendly attitude and someone that is self-aware as there are lots of individuals that attend the race. It's important to not be intimidated by a crowd of people as often people will be lined up to cross the street when permitted.

Crossing Guard for both Adult & Kid's Bike Races

We need volunteers! Hundreds of cyclists from around the world and thousands of spectators will be in Tosa to enjoy the day. We need: Crosswalk Marshalls, Kids Race Crew, and Event Set-Up Crew. Whatever your skills are, we have a role for you – whether you are committed to helping events go smoothly, you enjoy connecting with others, or love putting your hosting skills to use! With your help, the Tosa Village Classic Bike Race with Tour of America's Dairyland remains a world-class cycling event for our communities and visitors. A free tee shirt available to the first 50 registrants, a Jimmy Johns gift card, and beverages from our cooler for each volunteer.

There will be street closures the day of the race. Parking in the Harts Mill Lot (7735 Harwood Ave) or the Red Store Lot (7720 Harwood Ave) is free and close to the event site.
