The National Capital Trolley Museum is looking for volunteers to help us bring our next Live at the Loop concert on Saturday, September 20 to life!
This event is only possible because of our incredible volunteer community—and we’re expanding the team to make this concert even better than the first.
Whether you’ve volunteered before or are joining us for the first time, there are a variety of important roles where you can help:
Volunteer Opportunities
Event & Production Support
- Assist with stage setup and breakdown
- Help coordinate performers and event schedule flow
- Support the production manager during the event
Admissions & Guest Services
- Welcome visitors and manage entry/check-in
- Assist with ticketing, memberships, and visitor questions
- Help ensure guests have a smooth and positive experience
Parking & Traffic Control
- Direct vehicles in and out of the museum grounds
- Assist with accessible parking needs
- Help manage safe pedestrian flow
Vendor & Concessions Support
- Assist food trucks and vendors with setup and logistics
- Help coordinate vendor areas during the event
Safety & Operations
- Support the safety lead with crowd monitoring
- Assist with incident response and communications if needed
- Help ensure a safe, family-friendly environment
Volunteer Runners / Floaters
- Fill in where needed throughout the event
- Provide backup support across all areas
