About Us: The Journal of West Studies is a not-for-profit startup and a partially open-access journal that brings together academics with interests in the history and heritage of the West, as well as contemporary issues facing the region. Our interdisciplinary journal promotes research on all themes related to the current development and future of the West. We appeal to policymakers, practitioners, and an interested lay readership.

Role:

(1 or more of the following)

• Gather and publish content for the journal.
• Conduct research and build databases and bibliographies.
• Liaise with authors and contributors.
• Assist with social media, marketing, and promotion.
• Support web/tech work and event management.
• Perform virtual office administration tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong research and organizational skills.
• An interest in the West and its various themes.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• A minimum commitment of 3 months, with flexible hours (2-4 hours per week).
