18 years or older and has not received Alexandra House services in the last six (6) months. Ability to lift, reach, and use manual dexterity. Experience preparing food (personal or professional) is helpful.
Descrição
Kitchen Assistant Volunteers* assist with preparing and serving meals to shelter residents.
- Assist with food preparation.
- Serve meals to residents.
- Complete after-meal cleanup as necessary and ensure leftover food is stored correctly.
- Assist with maintaining organization and cleanliness of kitchen and pantry areas.
- Also good for groups of 3-5 who want to shop for and prepare a meal.
