The Digital Communications & Website Coordinator

The Digital Communications & Website Coordinator supports the organization’s online presence through website management, newsletter development, and digital communication efforts. This volunteer helps ensure families, supporters, partners, and community members stay informed and engaged with the organization’s mission, programs, and impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, update, and maintain website pages with current program information, events, and announcements
• Assist with creating and distributing monthly or biweekly newsletters
• Write and edit digital content that aligns with the organization’s voice and mission
• Organize photos, graphics, and website assets for digital use
• Monitor website functionality and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with staff to gather stories, highlights, and updates from programs and events
• Help track newsletter engagement metrics such as open rates and click-through rates
• Ensure branding consistency across website and email communications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with website platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, or similar tools
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Basic understanding of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
• Passion for community engagement and youth development
