ABOUT PROJECT 5000
Project 5000 is BBLI's flagship large-scale initiative designed to equip 5,000 vulnerable and underserved young people (ages 15–35) across Northwest Nigeria with critical life and economic skills. Priority beneficiaries include females, persons with disabilities, out-of-school youth, and economically disadvantaged individuals in underserved communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and engage potential donors, corporate sponsors, and strategic partners
- Promote and amplify fundraising campaigns across personal and professional networks
- Support the development of compelling donor proposals and funding communications
- Deliver persuasive pitches about Project 5000 to individuals and organizations
- Collaborate with the BBLI team to design and implement fundraising strategies
- Submit weekly activity reports detailing outreach progress and pipeline status
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine passion for youth empowerment, gender inclusion, and social impact
- Self-driven, organized, and dependable in a remote work environment
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet weekly expectations
- Background in fundraising, sales, marketing, or communications is an advantage - not a requirement
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Volunteers accepted into this role are expected to:
- Conduct a minimum of 3–5 structured outreach efforts per week
- Participate actively in fundraising campaigns and scheduled team check-ins
- Maintain consistent communication and submit timely progress updates
