UI/UX Designer Volunteer

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer (Volunteer) to lead the design of our mobile application. This role is ideal for a passionate designer who wants to contribute their expertise to a meaningful social cause while working closely with our product and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end UI/UX for Kiran Foundation’s mobile application (Android/iOS)
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Ensure a user-centric, accessible, and intuitive design experience
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers (React Native team)
• Conduct usability reviews and iterate designs based on feedback
• Maintain and improve design consistency, components, and design systems
• Align designs with Kiran Foundation’s mission, branding, and impact goals

Requirements

• Strong and proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably for mobile applications
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and mobile design guidelines
• Experience working with developers and handing off designs effectively
• Ability to work independently in a remote, volunteer-driven environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for social impact and non-profit work
