A Grassroots Initiative to Support Students for Change

About Students for Change Foundation Inc.

Students for Change Foundation Inc. is a youth-centered nonprofit on a mission to educate, equip, and encourage students to actively engage in civic and community efforts. We are not a political organization and do not promote specific policies. Instead, we help students build the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead effective service projects and advocacy efforts. We deliver hands-on workshops, project-based learning, and leadership consulting that connect young people to real-world challenges and prepare them to create meaningful change.

Why a Community Impact Council?

We’re growing quickly and we’ve learned that to create deeper impact, we need local champions. That’s why we’re launching the Students for Change Community Impact Council: a group of passionate, well-connected leaders who believe in youth potential and want to help us take our work to the next level.

We’ve laid a strong foundation, and now we’re ready to grow. If you’re excited by the idea of helping shape strategy, open doors, and build connections that last, this is the right time to get involved.

Leaders We’re Looking For

You don’t need fundraising or nonprofit experience, just the willingness to connect, contribute, and collaborate. We’re especially seeking people who:

1. Have ties to local schools, community organizations, or potential sponsors
2. Are passionate about civic education and youth leadership
3. Enjoy building relationships and sharing great causes with others
4. Can commit 2 – 3 hours a month to meetings, outreach, or support
5. Demonstrate belief in Students for Change’s mission, vision, and values
6. Willingness to provide and or fundraise financial investments

What Council Members Will Do

As a Council Member, you’ll play a key role in expanding our impact in the South Florida community by helping us:

1. Grow Partnerships
   1. Introduce us to schools, youth-serving organizations, and community leaders
   2. Help us promote our services and custom programs
   3. Build long-term collaborations to support student growth
2. Secure Resources
   1. Open doors to donors, sponsors, and funding partners
   2. Participate in or help plan fundraising events and campaigns
   3. Make a personal financial contribution
3. Shape Our Local Strategy
   1. Attend monthly meetings (virtual or in-person)
   2. Help define and lead committees as the council grows (e.g., Fundraising, Outreach, Events)
   3. Share ideas and feedback as we grow
