Volunteer drivers for Sound Generations' Volunteer Transportation Services, using their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement is an option), help older adults maintain their independence by taking them to and from medically necessary appointments. Clients are enormously grateful for improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind.

This opportunity is extremely FLEXIBLE: volunteers choose the days, times, frequency, and areas in which they want to drive. Many of our volunteer drivers choose a couple of rides a week, though some give more rides and some less. Each week can be different if that's what works.
