    Descrição

    The African American Women Trucking Association (AAWTA) is a national nonprofit advancing equity, workforce development, and entrepreneurship in the trucking, logistics, and supply chain industry.

    We are launching an internship cohort to support the expansion and visibility of two flagship initiatives:

    • Marketplace 2.0 Advantage Hub – a national partner and member benefits platform
    • Driven Together Education Program – workforce training and career pathways

    We are seeking motivated, mission-driven interns to support digital growth, marketing, partnerships, and nonprofit development.

    Responsibilities of a NGO Development & Partnership Support Intern include but not limited to:

    • Partner and sponsor research
    • Grant and funding support
    • Community outreach and affiliate engagement

    What Interns Will Gain

    • Real-world nonprofit and business development experience
    • Hands-on training in digital marketing, CRM systems, and partnerships
    • Exposure to national workforce development initiatives
    • Mentorship from AAWTA leadership
    • Opportunity for extended internships or paid 1099 contract roles

    Commitment

    • Remote / Virtual
    • 15-20 hours per week
    • 60–90 day commitment
    • Internship begins Second Week of January

    Ideal Candidates

    • Students or early-career professionals in marketing, communications, business, nonprofit management, or related fields
    • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
    • Passion for community impact, workforce development, and equity-driven missions
