We are in need of compassionate volunteers who can sit with patients, hold a hand, listen to stories, share music, offer respite to caregivers, or simply bring a calm and steady presence to someone’s final chapter. No special skills are required—only kindness, patience, and a willingness to give the gift of time.
You can serve by:
Sitting bedside and offering quiet companionship
Reading, sharing stories, or listening as patients reflect on their life
Providing respite to a tired caregiver who needs a moment to breathe
Bringing music, prayer, or calming presence to someone who finds comfort in it
Helping with light administrative work that supports our team behind the scenes
Making friendly phone calls to check in on families
Sending cards or creating small crafts that bring unexpected warmth
Supporting grief and bereavement programs through simple acts of kindness
No medical background is needed—only a kind heart, patience, and a willingness to be present.
Comprehensive training and support - Background check - TB screening - all provided.
