Be part of Free 3rd Thursdays at the Pink Palace Museum by helping visitors explore the museum, learn about science and history, and leading hands-on activities.
Every 3rd Thursday of the month
Become a PPMM Learning Docent and dive into an exhilarating journey of discovery! As a part of this vibrant initiative, you’ll play a crucial role in preserving local stories and igniting a passion for science and curiosity in learners of all ages. Through hands-on explorations and engaging experiments, you’ll encourage inquisitive minds to ask questions and seek answers about the wonders of our community and beyond. Together, we will celebrate the scientific spirit and inspire innovation for the future of Memphis! Join us in this joyful mission today and help us create a more curious and creative tomorrow!
Docents are needed every 3rd Thursday of the month from 1:30pm-5:00pm.

Volunteers must be 16 years old or older to volunteer and must commit to work a minimum of 4 hours during the event. The shifts are 10:00am-2:00pm and 1:30pm-5:00pm. Volunteers should be able to stand for an extended period of time and be comfortable interacting with the public.
