Interim Hospice is proud to be a member of the We Honor Veterans program. We Honor Veterans is a National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization program that has collaborated with the Department of Veteran Affairs to recognize the uniqueness and value of our nations veterans at the end of life. The goal is to assist the veteran in having a peaceful and dignified end of life. This can be done by providing the patient with camaraderie or pinning ceremonies. Although anyone can volunteer with Interim Hospice, this post is specifically looking for veteran volunteers who are able to connect to our veteran patients.
