Volunteer Community Support Drivers Needed!

Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen is looking for compassionate, reliable Volunteer Community Drivers to deliver meals to our Meals on Wheels, Medically Tailored Meals, and Jerry Larson FoodBasket clients in Santa Clara County. Your time behind the wheel helps ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors receive the nutrition and support they need to thrive.

• Details: - Shifts available Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
• Start and end location: 1500 Berger Drive, San Jose, CA 95112
• Each route includes an average of seven delivery stops.
• Volunteers will obtain their delivery stops for the day, load vehicle with meals, call clients ahead of delivery, then bring the meals or groceries to the designated clients’ home.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license.
• Proof of current car insurance.
• Completion of a background check, online orientation, and training.
• Minimum six-month commitment.
