The Hospice Volunteer plays a vital role in the hospice program and provides patient support services to individuals who are facing a life-limiting medical illness. Comfort and support are provided to the patient and family members wherever they call home. Volunteers can provide support through phone calls, engaging in conversation, weekly visits, cards or board games, pet therapy, reiki therapy, legacy letters, quilting, Veteran Certificates and many other opportunities.
