Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead (Volunteer-Virtual)

Outdoor Life Leadership is seeking an experienced Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead to help build our OLL Annual Sponsorship Program.

This role will create a simple year-round sponsorship system that connects businesses and corporate partners with areas such as youth development, outdoor education, emergency preparedness, family support, events, career skills, gear, and general organizational needs.

This is a hands-on volunteer leadership role. We are looking for someone who can take the lead with limited direction.

What You’ll Do

• Build a simple annual sponsorship plan.
• Identify and research potential sponsors.
• Create basic sponsorship opportunities and sponsor benefits.
• Help prepare sponsor outreach and proposals.
• Contact and follow up with selected prospects.
• Track sponsor outreach and results.
• Help build long-term business relationships.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in sponsorships, fundraising, partnerships, business development, sales, or related work.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Good research and organization skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Comfortable with email and online tools.
• Nonprofit experience is helpful but not required.

Time Commitment

6-12 Months Part-time with flexible hours.
