Maat K12 Private School is seeking creative, thoughtful volunteers to help develop age-appropriate discussion questions for K–12 students.
This is a 100% remote, flexible volunteer opportunity for people who enjoy education, writing, curriculum development, tutoring, research, or helping students think more deeply about what they are learning.
Volunteers may create discussion questions based on lessons, readings, educational videos, worksheets, presentations, and other instructional materials. Questions may support subjects including English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, STEM, Coding, Financial Literacy, Career Exploration, Health, Art, and more.
This role helps students:
Think critically
Explain their reasoning
Make real-world connections
Support their opinions with evidence
Reflect on what they learned
Participate more confidently in class discussions
Previous teaching experience is helpful, but not required. We welcome educators, college students, writers, tutors, retired teachers, curriculum developers, instructional designers, homeschool parents, researchers, and other community volunteers.
