Volunteer Manager Assistant – Koreshan State Park

Be part of the team that keeps Koreshan State Park’s volunteer program running smoothly. As a Volunteer Manager Assistant, you’ll play a key supporting role in coordinating the many individuals who help bring this historic settlement to life.

Koreshan State Park thrives because of its dedicated volunteers—from tour guides and docents to artists and event helpers. This position works closely with the Volunteer Manager to ensure those volunteers feel supported, organized, and set up for success.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and people-focused position that may include:

• Assisting with volunteer scheduling and communication
• Supporting onboarding of new volunteers (paperwork, orientation, introductions)
• Maintaining records, forms, and general organization of the program
• Assisting with special events and volunteer appreciation efforts
• Serving as a friendly point of contact for volunteer questions and needs

• Comfortable working with a wide variety of people
• Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.)
