Applicants must be 18+ and commit to at least 4 weeks. Volunteers should be responsible, patient and comfortable with children, respect local culture and follow staff guidance. A valid volunteer visa is required.

Worthy of Hope Tanzania is looking for international volunteers to support a local daycare centre in Moshi, Northern Tanzania.
Responsibilities
Volunteers may assist local staff with:
- Supporting children during daily learning and play activities
- Helping with basic educational activities, reading, drawing and creative activities
- Organizing games, songs, sports and other age-appropriate activities
- Giving individual attention and encouragement to children
- Helping keep learning and play areas organized
- Supporting other simple activities according to the needs of the daycare centre
Volunteers will work alongside local staff and should follow their guidance and the routines of the centre.
Qualifications
Previous childcare or teaching experience is helpful but not required.
We are looking for volunteers who are:
- Patient, caring and responsible
- Comfortable working with young children
- Respectful of local culture and community practices
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Able to communicate in English
